The pursuers sword is ok, but to be honest the standard greatsword is better. It's move set is more useful and it upgrades with standard materials. It does look badass though, so there is that. Don't use any boss souls, in case you change your mind later.

Typically my weapon choices are defenders greatsword, malformed skull, greatsword, or silverblack spear. I've used others and like almost all the weapons accept this one its a smash and a wild swing.
